Who owns the copyright to my work?
You do, always. You keep full ownership and copyright of everything you upload. By publishing on ArtLab you give us permission to show and promote your work on the platform and our channels: the site, social, features like Artist of the Week. We never claim your work as our own, and we never sell or license it to anyone else.
What happens to my page if I stop paying?
Nothing happens, because your page costs nothing. There is one free level and it is the full page: your works, your archive, your biography, your link. If you cancel Curated, the curator stops working on your page and you keep it exactly as it stands, editable by you from your studio.
Can I still sell and show my work somewhere else?
Yes. ArtLab is not exclusive. Your work stays yours to sell, show and represent anywhere else at the same time.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. There is no lock-in, and nothing to cancel unless you bought something. If you are on Curated you cancel anytime and keep it until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund the period that is already running, and the one-time onboarding fee is not refundable once the work has started.
Can I change or remove my works?
Yes. You add, update and remove works whenever you want, and you move any work between your page and your archive as often as you like. On Curated, the curator updates your page with you every month, so it stays in step with your research, while the archive stays yours to fill.
Who sets the price of my work?
You do. You decide the price for every piece.
