Intersezioni Cromatiche: Sintesi di Basic Design
press · 2026 · 21x29,7cm
The project stems from methodological research based on the principles of Basic Design and the decomposition of pure form. The starting point for the work is the figure of the circle, essentially reduced to a single quadrant (a 90° arc). The final work is the synthesis of a triptych of plates created for printing and exhibited as a single visual entity. At this point of contact, form meets the material of printing: the visual language is based on the CMYK color model (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black). Through the overlapping and transparency of the three primary colors of subtractive synthesis, the composition generates dark areas and deep black, revealing the typographic process and transforming color theory into geometric structure and visual rhythm.
