Candra Huff is an illustrator based in Indianapolis, IN. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2022. Previously, he worked as a designer/illustrator at People Inc. He loves creating warm environments and exploring fun narratives in his work, in a style inspired by risograph printing.
I create digital illustration work, primarily for editorial publications. Inspired by vintage illustration & printmaking, I incorporate rich textures and coloring techniques that invoke a vintage yet simultaneously modern feel. My subjects tend to be grounded in reality, and I love drawing relatable narratives, animals, and urban environments.

I fell in love with drawing the second I learned how to hold a pencil. My passion eventually took me to the School of Visual Arts. After graduating, I worked at People Inc for a few years. Now, I am a freelance illustrator, working primarily with magazines and news publications.
